Tips to Test/Verify Registration PDF Packet

TIPS to Test/Verify using the Merge Fields PDF as a Public PDF to view all data fields


To view/validate your Public PDF Registration Packet (one per webpage):

1. Sign In as Admin user.

2. Visit ExceedFurther's DRM and choose a Guest Stay that doesn't already have a PDF attached to it.  If it does, and it is ok to delete it. please do so, otherwise expect a message indicating this packet already exists.  Capture the Guest Stay ID and the Patient's Last Name of an existing Guest Stay.

3. Visit Exceed Further Online Administration's Registrations Packet Log to verify a Registration Packet has not been created for that Guest Stay ID.  If it has, and it is ok to delete, please do.  If you don't delete it, expect a message indicating a Registration Packet has already been submitted and you will have to select a different one from your ExceedFurther DRM.

3. Important notice: If you only delete it from the Online Administration log, you can still view as your visitor will, but you won't be able to submit it again to avoid duplicates.

4. Enter the Guest Stay ID and the Patient's last name and click to get the registration PDF Packet with the data for that specific Guest Stay ID.  Make any data changes as your visitors would, add your signature (if you have a touch device) or accept (click if you do not) and submit.  Please notice that where you entered Accept or Checkmark for the initials fields, you initials will appear in the PDF.

5. Check the Guest Stay record in the DRM and you will see the new PDF with the changes you made.  

6. Check the Log in Online Administration and you will see also see the PDF with your changes, if submitted.




To create/update a Public PDF (one per webpages, with as many pages as desired):

1.Signed In as Admin User, visit the public page that you will present to your visitors and click on Public PDF button

2. Generate a fresh new Merge Fields Catalog PDF to make sure you are pulling the latest fields and UDF's.  This is only needed when you want to add new fields to your Public PDF.

3. Open your Merge Fields PDF as well as your Public PDF with your Adobe Pro license and make sure both PDFs are in "Prepare Mode".  Temporarily use my personal Adobe Pro license by going to Adobe.com and signing in as sylviagastel@yahoo.com (passwd Arreva123456!) and download a copy of Adobe Pro on your desktop. 

4. Copy/paste fields and UDF values from the Merge Fields PDF onto the Public PDF.  Edit and style your Public PDF as desired and save.  

5. Load your new Public PDF and proceed to test/verify what your visitors will see on that specific public page.  Sign out and try it again as a visitor would.  Make sure all set in place to launch.
